Brands like Mi, Samsung, GOQii, Realme, and Fitbit are cashing on the fitness trend. Activity tracking, sleep cycle, heart rate monitoring, and synchronization with mobile devices are the key features in which the average users find solace.
In a study by App Annie, during March 2021, there was a significant surge of 20% more downloads across all apps in health and fitness categories be it iOS or Google Play compared to February 2021. Arogya Setu was the leader among the downloads. Apps like HealthifyMe saw a 15% rise in new user registrations and 20% old registered users reinstalling and returning to the app platform.
From the craze for Pulse Oximeters, vaporizers and digital thermometers to home gym equipment including yoga mats and weights people are latching on to options as per their requirements to establish their healthy self.
